Chop Chop Club

Newly opened brainchild by the talented Paul Pairet, Chop Chop club is Shanghai’s newest carvery that does not disappoint.

We had dinner with a group of friends to try the menu and it was a gastroaffair.

Starters:

Pre dinner drinks at CCC is nothing short of a surprise. Box cocktails in beautiful glass containers sets the mood. Negroni, Pimms, Spritz and Pisco Sour are all half price until 730pm.

And to complement the cocktails would be their starter of beer tartar with their oysters and fungi.

Mains

Although it’s a carvery, there are plenty of choices if you want a lighter serving of your proteins.

A beef tongue with freshly squeezed lime is on the menu that’s tender, juicy and zesty, to bring out the natural sweet taste of the meat.

Sea bass is grilled to perfection

Bone marrow that is so fresh it’s chewy

Chicken that’s so tasty, it’s even heavenly the next day!

But the highlight was the cote beouf. 1.2kg of red meat goodness that comes paired with another order of bone marrow… *slurp*

The rest of the night was spent in interval moments of food coma, only to be welcomed back by the sweet scent of the Negroni from the jar.

Recommendations: Yes! But even for large group like us, I would have cut down on the food portion.

Come and book your table before 730pm so you can enjoy a terrific 50% discount.
